At Acclaim Hospice our hope is that no person will die alone.
The goal of Acclaim's Vigil Volunteer Program is to connect patients with a volunteer to sit vigil, offering support and a comforting presence, during their final hours.
This may be simply being present with the patient who is dying without family members or friends available or providing support to family members who need a break from the bedside of their loved one.
