Opportunity: American Youth Table Tennis (AYTTO) and or ZYP! Sports seeks one or two dedicated high school, college or volunteers to create short table tennis instruction films at the Westchester Table Tennis Center and/or PS 126 in lower Manhattan.
About Us: AYTTO is a not for profit organization committed to providing school aged children in New York City an opportunity to participate in engaging after school programs. Our website is www.aytto.org AYTTO has a working partnership with two premier New York City Table tennis clubs - Westchester Table Tennis Center. / www.westchestertabletennis.com/ and SPiN New York www.spinyc.com/. We also have a for profit business, TableTennisStore that sells table tennis equipment nationally. The two businesses are linked.
Expectations: The individual who applies for this volunteer position should have an interest in film and film editing and posting these videos to social media. Footage will be shot of children or elite athletes playing table tennis and then edited using computer software and loaded up onto a "Youtube" account.
As a successful volunteer you will receive full acknowledgement contributed hours, name recognition on finished product and opportunity to future references. Position is unpaid, but may lead to a paid position in the future, depending on whether the project can drive additional donation dollars. For more information contact bennisbet@aytto.org.
