St. Brigid's Food Pantry
Volunteers are needed on Monday and Wednesday to assist in the preparation of food bag distribution.
St. Brigid's Food Pantry services nearly 3,000 people in the winter months (and about half as many in summer). We need able-bodied volunteers capable of taking shelved food items and putting together a nutritionally balanced bag for distribution. These include many canned and box goods; in addition to frozen meats, perishables and other sundry items.
Must be available from 11:30 am to 3:00 pm on Monday and Wednesday. Alternative times to come and bag food are on Saturday's after 3:00 pm.
Being bi-lingual is helpful in working with our clients, but not necessary....
