Want to look back over your life and feel a sense of pride? Do you desire to accomplish meaningful, worthwhile activity as long as you are able? Have you always had a desire to help others? Become involved as a volunteer for Compassionate Hands Hospice! Patient Care Volunteers are significant helpers for our terminally-ill patients and their families in their time of need. PCVs visit their assigned patient one hour per week to provide companionship, emotional comfort, and family support. SPANISH-SPEAKING VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! Description
Hospice is a comprehensive care program for patient's and famlies which emphasizes quality of life and is most effective during the final 6 months of life expectancy.
Hospice is a care system based upon the right of people to know accurately and honestly what is happening to them so they can spend the precious remaining time in the most purposeful and meaningful way consistent with they values and concerns.
