Have fun and help at the same time!
Do you enjoy caring for babies and children? Here's an opportunity to provide much-needed quality time to children at our Tomorrow's Hope Childcare Center. Youngsters ranging in age from four weeks to twelve years of age attend Tomorrow's Hope Childcare Center on a daily basis. Volunteers assist classroom teachers and participate in activities with the children such as reading, playing games, helping with arts and crafts projects, helping at nap time, and homework assistance.
JOB DUTIES:
- Provide constant supervision of all children in classroom; maintain a positive, relaxed atmosphere; employ patience and understanding with the daily needs of the children.
- Interact with co-workers and parents in a positive manner.
- Assist the classroom teacher with daily activities
- Keep room clean and safe; performing general cleaning duties
- Contact appropriate staff for emergency assistance

The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program of Snohomish County matches skills/training and preferences of persons 55+ to available volunteer opportunities and promotes their voluntary service as a valuable community resource.
Description
RSVP matches personal interests, skills and lifelong experiences with non-profit public organizations at over 116 different partner agencies, including non-profits, throughout the county. Benefits of being an RSVP volunteer are: ~excess insurance coverage including Liability, Auto, and Accident. ~partial reimbursement for transporatation costs to and from volunteer stations, subject to certain regulations and limits. ~ongoing recognition and Annual Recognition Event to RSVP volunteers. The only agency tracking and reporting the volunteer activities of persons age 55 and older through the National Senior Corps, RSVP promotes retired and senior persons as viable members of the community, able to share their skills, time and experience through volunteer service.
