Silverado Hospice is looking for volunteers to join our team. As a Silverado Volunteer you will be visiting patients in their own homes, Silverado communities or other nursing facilities. You'll be assigned to a patient as close to your home as possible. We need volunteers who are willing to read the paper or a book to the patient, share hobbies, play & listen to soothing music, talk and share stories or just listen to their life stories, bring flowers from a garden, share photos, or just sit quietly and be the gift of presence for them.
