Homelessness is so much more than just a lack of shelter. The Cape Fear Circles of Support Mentoring program pairs mentors with individuals and families that have struggled with homelessness. Mentors provide counsel, friendship, reinforcement, and encouragement, assisting with a variety of life skills necesasry to get and stay housed. On average, mentors spend about 2-3 hours per month volunteering for Circles of Support with a team member.
Mentors for the Circles of Support program come from different backgrounds, faiths, and ethnic groups. Each of us has knowledge, experience, and wisdom to share.
Be an inspiration.
