If you love books and know book genres and categories, Arc's Value Village in Brooklyn Center needs you! Be a part of the book team ensuring our book department remains categorized and consistently organized in order to make browsing for books easy for customers! Volunteers help price-sticker, categorize & stock books in appropriate section as well as maintain categories, straighten & organize the shelves. Volunteer for a 3-hour volunteer shift once a week, twice a month or monthly. Our greatest need is for book volunteers on Tuesday mornings and Fri-Sat-Sun mornings and afternoons. This volunteer opportunity not available for dealers or people who resell books.

Description
The Arc Minnesota is a statewide nonprofit organization that works to promote and protect the human rights of people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Arc helps people navigate systems while working to advance social change centered in justice, equity and belonging in community. Arc's Value Village is a public awareness and revenue generating vehicle for The Arc Minnesota. Arc's Value Village accepts clothing, housewares, art, media, books & related items and sells those items to the community.
