Improve the health and well-being of veterans by volunteering at the Battle Creek VA Medical Center's extended care wards. Volunteers are needed to assist with activities at the VA's extended care dementia ward and extended care mental health wards during the afternoon hours between 2pm-4pm. Duties of a volunteer can include playing games, playing cards, and visiting with patients in the ward dayrooms or in the patient rooms on the assigned wards. Activities during these times have a great positive impact on our veteran patients!
