Opportunities exist to provide ongoing health and science presentations to children in Sacramento schools. The primary age group served by the program are grades 4-8. Each volunteer works with school staff(teachers and/or the school nurse) to design presentations customized to meet the needs of each school. Teaching aides are available on a loan basis from the Adopt-A-School Program. A variety of charts, models, videos, and organs for dissection are available.
