Volunteer as a positive reading role model and help children associate reading with pleasure! Classroom Readers read aloud to a classroom of pre-K, kindergarten, or elementary age students once or twice per month on a regular basis. Training and materials provided! We need Volunteers from Sept 2015 through May 2016.

Description
PENCIL is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization established in 1982 by Nashville business and community leaders who recognized the need for community involvement in public education. PENCIL's board, volunteers, and staff have a long history of serving students and staff in Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools through school-community partnership programs, school-to-career learning opportunities, and educational support.
