Kenneth Young Center provides community mental health and senior services to the northwest suburbs. We have a RESALE SHOP at 1150 S. Roselle Road in Schaumburg (corner of Wise and Roselle). All proceeds from the shop directly support our services. What's in it for you? Get "on the job" experience, make new friends, learn new employment skills, HAVE FUN, find some really cool stuff! HOURS: Sundays through Saturdays 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Pick a day that's convenient for you! As a volunteer, you are responsible for maintaining excellent service for all our valued customers. Additional jobs might include accepting, sorting, and marking donated items for resale. The most immediate need is for cashiers, but we are always looking for anyone who can volunteer time to help out with other responsiblities at the store. [Clients and their families come to us in some of their most desperate moments. Kenneth Young Center is a JCAHO-accredited agency providing community mental health and senior services to the northwest suburbs. Behavioral health and older adult services serving Elk Grove and Schaumburg Townships and the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago. For almost 50 years, we have served the most vulnerable populations. We provide counseling, intervention and family support services.
