The National Kidney Foundation is looking for young, energetic individuals seeking college credit and/or work experience to intern in our Richmond office!
Position Overview:
- Experience National Kidney Foundation various fundraising events with hands on experience in all stages of the planning and implementation process.
- Experience the phases of the Silent Auction process by researching connections and auction items.
- Experience all aspects of communications and marketing with constituents, patients, donors, and sponsors.
- Experience the Solicitation of in-kind support and donation process.
- Social Media through Facebook and Twitter.
Essential Job Functions:
- Pursuing BS/BA or Masters Degree.
- Pursuing a career in related field and/or within nonprofit.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills. Comfortable talking with and interacting with others.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Must have own transportation.
