Jedis, and Siths, and Droids Oh My! This is the place to be on May the 4th for all Star Wars fans!

This amazingly fun walk serves as an outreach & educational event, educating the public about epilepsy & keeping our life changing and life saving programs and services available at no cost to those braving this chronic condition. It's our best day, where we'll gather, stand strong in unity & work together to UNSEIZE THE DAY!

The day begins with a festive parade walk circling a 1/4 mile path around the carnival. Families can enjoy the carnival games, bounce house, and game booths. A silent auction and raffle are at the center of the carnival. A delicious BBQ lunch and Epilepsy Walk OC T-shirt is provided to all volunteers. Check it out... https://youtu.be/7nY5H5mEkwc

Mission Statement

The ESNOC is committed to building a community of support to improve the lives of those affected by epilepsy through education, programs and advocacy.

Description

The Epilepsy Support Network of Orange County is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2009 by a group of compassionate, vision-driven people determined to provide crucial support and relevant services to the 32,000 Orange County residents living with epilepsy and their families. For 11,000 of these individuals medical treatment has been ineffective and they continue to have seizures. Because epilepsy is a complex neurological condition, many times people need help sorting through medical, educational, social and emotional aspects of the condition. Most of what the general public knows is based on harmful oversimplification, myths and outdated information, further perpetuating the problem.

The Epilepsy Support Network of Orange County is improving the outlook for people diagnosed with epilepsy. We are accomplishing this by providing the highest quality epilepsy specific educational programs as well as support services to guide patients and families with epilepsy through the medical, psychological, social, and educational challenges that epilepsy uniquely presents until there is a cure. ESN's energetic and experienced staff members have succeeded in accomplishing our goal of seizure free lives for many of our members.
