Mission Statement
The purpose of H.O.P.E. Acres Rescue is to rescue, rehabilitate, and provide a safe haven for equines in need, to live out a healthy, happy, and peaceful life through public education, county and state alliances, donations and caring volunteers.
Description
H.O.P.E. Acres Rescue, Inc. was founded in April 2010 by Tracey Sawyer as a rescue facility for equines in need. Tracey has a passion for animals and after much research found a severe need for a rescue in the Tri-County area of South Carolina.
Not only are the numbers of unwanted, abandoned, abused horses staggering, but the number of rescues turning horses away is heartbreaking! It is our "H.O.P.E." to ultimately be in a position to embrace each and every horse's needs, along with support from our local horse community, and to have the ability to nurture, house and love all who we are fortunate enough to rescue.
