Improve the health and well-being of veterans by volunteering at to provide services to veterans transitioning from homelessness for the Battle Creek VA Medical Center. Volunteer's responsibilities are based on their unique skills; however, some services include peer support counseling, covering walk-in clinic, assisting staff with distribution of materials at stand downs, recreation activities, organization and distribution of comfort items, and other areas needed to support staff.

Description
The Battle Creek VA Medical Center is the parent organization for VA health care in southwest Michigan which includes Community Based Outpatient Clinics in Muskegon, Grand Rapids, Benton Harbor and Lansing. We are proud of our dedicated volunteers who assist staff in a variety of ways throughout the Medical Center and Community Based Outpatient Clinics.
