Communities In Schools of Puyallup (CIS of Puyallup) is looking for caring, responsible mentors and tutors to help implement our organization’s mission during the 2023-2024 school year to surround Puyallup students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life. By giving just one hour per week, our tutors can help ensure that struggling students have the tools they need to stay in school and thrive. Your support and generosity can go a long way in transforming a young person's life.

Tutors are not required to have a background in any specific field, but they must possess a passion for helping students achieve their academic and personal goals. Volunteers must pass a background check and agree to Puyallup School District’s and CIS of Puyallup’s Volunteer Policies and Procedures. Volunteers are expected to fulfill their time commitment and collaborate with a CIS site coordinator to understand the needs of their assigned students.
