MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN A FAMILY'S LIFE AND END YOUR YEAR WITH A GIVING SPIRIT!

"When times were bad for my family last year, a wonderful sponsor came along to help us out. Two of my children have a seizure disorder and another one has severe asthma. Christmas was just around the corner and I had recently secured a minimum wage job. I was very thankful for the job, but was having trouble making ends meet. I was afraid the kids would not have a Christmas tree or presents under the tree, let alone a holiday meal. To my surprise, a group came along to assist us. They gave us a food box, a present for the kids, and I even received a blanket for my bed! This group will never know the difference they made in our lives and how grateful I am..."

Thanks to the generosity of community sponsors, 50 families were sponsored in 2017 and able to fully enjoy the holidays with their loved ones. We're thinking big in 2018 and hope to double family sponsorship to 100!

You can help us. The DES Division of Developmental Disabilities (throughout six counties: Yuma, Pima, Santa Cruz, Sierra Vista, Greenlee and Graham) is seeking individuals/families/clubs and groups to "sponsor" an approved family this holiday season by supplying a food gift card and/or a present for each family member.
