Volunteer needed to provide office support by copying materials, collating, filing, bulk mailings, brochure inventory and restocking, assembling educational and informational packets. Answering phone system and FAXing documents. Day time volunteer opportunity; office hours are 8:30am - 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Occasionally need after hours volunteer.

Mission Statement
To help prevent child abduction and sexual exploitation; help find missing children; and assist victims of child abduction and sexual exploitation, their families, and the professionals who serve them.
Description
NCMEC/NY offers prevention education classes for parents, children, law enforcement and other professionals. Case assistance to law enforcement and families on missing children's cases. Poster distribution to targeted areas across the nation based upon investigative leads. NetSmartz Internet safety programs for grades K-12/parents and caretakers. Prevention Works programs for parents/caretakers at corporations, etc. Speaker's Bureau promotes education safety and awareness in the community with Child ID events and educational displays.
Programs supported through annual fundraisers: The Ride for Missing Children, Motorcycles for the Missing and the annual Dinner Auction.
