Be a volunteer mentor to a child!
In this volunteer program, adult mentors are matched with elementary school aged students. You meet one-on-one with your child duriing thier lunch period at school for the duration of the school year.
The E.H Mentor Program seeks to provide a supportive environment for children who would benefit from the friendship and support of a caring adult.
Volunteer mentors are continuously recruited.

Mission Statement
Help a Child - Be a Mentor! The East Hartford Mentor Program is looking for volunteers to share their time with students who would benefit from the friendship and support of a caring adult. Young people who have a mentor are more likely to stay in school and go on to college, raise their life aspirations, stay away from drugs, seek teacher's trust, help other and avoid fights and other violent behavior.

Our school based mentoring program matches adult volunteers with elementary school aged students. Volunteers meet with students one-on-one, during their lunch period, throughout the school year.
