LOOKING FOR WARM and FRIENDLY volunteers to serve as Hospitality Helpers in our Wheat Ridge office. Help us as we JOURNEY WITH OTHERS AT END OF LIFE Join the Journey... Make friendly visits...Read stories...Hold hands...Massage feet...Comb hair...Polish nails...Watch football/basketball/baseball/hockey games...Sing silly (or other) songs...Bring in a milkshake...Work puzzles...Do filing in the office...Go for walks...Look at photo albums...Play cards or games...Watch the birds...Talk about old times...Bring a pet to visit...Knit or quilt lap robes...Call lonely patients...Give hugs...Read the newspaper...Write letters... Play an instrument...Make holiday cards...Answer phones in the office...Talk about current events...Cut hair...Do laundry...Watch the leaves change...Feed cats or dogs...Mow the lawn...Watch videos...Bring coffee, tea or latte...Draw pictures...Eat ice cream...Watch the snow fall...Shovel snow...Paint a room...etc...etc...etc... Then we invite YOU to become a Kindred Hospice volunteer! Individualized training is provided.

Kindred hospice is an organization that provides care and support to terminally ill persons and their families wherever they call "home". We offer a variety of flexible opportunities for volunteers - you choose what activities you'd like to do and the time you're able to commit! The time commitments listed under each opportunity below are only estimates. We look forward to hearing from you!
