This is an opportunity for someone 55 and over

Work with culturally diverse families in early childhood literacy training in Framingham. Visit a minimum of two families a week for 30 minutes now through June, 2012, excluding school breaks, school closing due to weather and school holidays.

  • Model for the parents appropriate ways to read and play with their child
  • Respect the role of the parent as their child's first and most important teacher
  • Meet with supervisor and provide weekly documentation of visits

SOAR 55 is closing as of March 31. The SOAR 55 Nonprofit Management Consultants are exploring opportunites to become its own 501c3 program at this time
