Hospice - Pet Therapy visits needed for hospice patients

We are looking for people just like you to volunteer your time visiting with our patients on Hospice. Your visits will make the time left to our patients, very precious. Each patient has a life limiting illness and would benefit from your visits tremendously. Sitting with the patient and holding their hand, reading to them, listening to music or watching TV would be helpful and most of all make them feel special, loved, wanted and not alone and isolated. Our goal is to make our patients as comfortable as possible, spiritually, physicaally and emotionally. A touch, a kind word and just your presence during this time will make an impact on the life they have left to live. It is an honor to share someone's last days, and you can be a part of making these days as memorable and loving as possible.
