Make and assist with the creation of flyers, brochures and other agency materials using your own computer and your own software. All documents should be compatible with Adobe's CS6 Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and sometimes Dreamweaver. However we also work with PowerPoint and Publisher and if none of these options are available to you, we can recreate your design. When the artwork is done, we need/will retain the native artwork in case there are further changes, or if some or all of your artwork can be used elsewhere in our agency.
This is a wonderful opportunity to be recognized for your good work! This opportunity is for graphic designers who have experience creating graphic materials. Samples of your previous work are required so please be prepared to send in samples when we respond to your request.

Mission Statement
The mission of the Lighthouse is to educate, empower, and employ people who are visually impaired and blind. We have provided residents of Pasco, Hernando and Citrus Counties with no cost vision rehabilitation for almost 40 years. Our programs and services develop the independent living skills needed so people who are visually impaired and blind can live happy, independent, and successful lives.
Description
The Lighthouse for the Visually Impaired and Blind is a non-profit agency that provides services at no cost to people who are visually impaired and blind of all ages and to their families.
The Lighthouse receives partial funding from the Florida Division of Blind Services. We are also partner agencies of the United Ways of Pasco and Hernando Counties. Private donations and the efforts of volunteers help us provide our services to more people. We need volunteers to help us in many ways.

Please note, most in-person volunteering is done within business hours which are Monday to Thursday 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Virtual volunteering can be done at your convenience.
