The Senior Hub Meals on Wheels is currently looking for volunteer drivers to deliver meals to homebound seniors. Volunteers are assigned one route and they do the same route every week. The commitment is once a week, Monday through Friday from 10:30 am until 1:00 pm. The Senior Hub serves Adams County and has routes in the following cities: Northglenn, Thornton, Westminster, Federal Heights, and Unincorporated Adams County.
Volunteer drivers are reimbursed for their gas mileage.
Our current openings are on Monday's and Tuesday's.
There are other opportunites that can be more flexible.

Description
Meals on Wheels provides a homebound person with a nutritious, hot, noontime meal as well as a friendly visitor. In many cases, our Meals on Wheels volunteer delivery driver is the only visitor our clients ever receive.
- Drivers provide a wellness check during each visit. If a driver does not have a client answer a door, emergency contacts are called to check on the health and welfare of that client. In many cases the driver's quick response to a situation can be a major factor in saving the life of a senior.
