Duties and Responsibilities:
This volunteer position will help coordinate the distribution of backpacks every week throughout the entirety
of the school year and tasks will include:
* Distributing backpacks every Thursday to the children enrolled in the Weekend Nutrition Club
* Communicating with families and children to ensure the Weekend Nutrition Club runs effectively
* Keeping accurate school records of distribution sheets provided by Giving Children Hope
* Faxing monthly distribution list and success stories to WGYB Coordinator
* Maintaining constant communication between school and GCH
Supervision: School coordinator of Weekend Nutrition Club
Skills:
* People person
* Trust worthy
* Reliable
* Must be organized and detail-oriented
* Problem-solver
* Good communications skills
* Knowledge of Spanish a plus
Requirements:
* Must have own transportation
* Background check
