Applicant must be able to work 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., M - F for after-school program, serving youth ages (5 - 13 years of age). The volunteer will provide assistance in monitoring students activities and behavior and will assist instructors in all aspects of the program.
Experience working with children is preferred, reliable transportation and very responsible.
This is a seasonal position that will start in September and end in June.
If you are a person that believes caring for children can be a positive and rewarding experience and have the listed qualifications we would like to hear from you.
This job requires that the applicant be enrolled in high school or a high school graduate. Must take direction well and have a desire to work with children.

Mission Statement
It is our mission to provide a safe Out-Of-School Time environment where youth can learn new experiences, increase educational skills, financial literacy and enjoy recreational activities. The P.A.S.S. & Camp P.E.A.C.E. program promotes team building while providing an avenue for youth to access the tools needed to become self-sufficient productive adults.
During the Camp PEACE experience youth also learn the importance of community responsibility, build leadership skills and increase self-esteem. It is our philosophy that all youth, regardless of their socio-economic status deserve exposure to quality opportunities and experiences to assist them with navigating through life by using available resources to achieve greatness.
Description
The P.A.S.S. & Camp P.E.A.C.E. program is a pre-entrepreneur, academically based, athletically fueled, enrichment programs.
Our programs provide opportunities to gain knowledge & increase peace. Included in this experience is weekly workshops including: alcohol & drug prevention, conflict resolution and self-esteem building, money management and team building.
We further believe that all youth should "Play Hard & Keep Healthy". We provide healthy snack alternatives and provide plenty opportunities for out-of-school time fun, during our fun Friday's and Gimme A Break days.
Since we know education is a major key to future success, we didn't leave that out. We assure education is incorporated all week long. The students are divided into grade level groups during the afternoon for group homework assistance. It is our desire to provide the much needed one on one tutorial services to our program youth.
