Our after school Tutoring program allows all school age shelter children to stay focused on their education despite the hardships of inconsistent living situations and limited financial support. Homeless children often struggle in school, and a structured and dependable Tutoring program can keep them from falling behind. Tutoring will take place from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Mondays through Thursdays beginning September 16, 2014 and will continue through the school year.

Description
Shelter House, Inc. is a community-based, non-profit organization that provides crisis intervention, safe housing, and supportive services to homeless families and victims of domestic violence in our community.
Shelter House works to help families permanently end their homelessness by entering into safe and stable housing. Our supportive services do not end when the family leaves shelter. Shelter House continues to provide access to county services, child care, transportation services, job skills training, and more for long-term self-sufficiency, stability, and safety.
