Are you interested in volunteering for the Start! San Luis Obispo Heart Walk on Saturday, October 2 at Avila Beach Promenade & Bob Jones Trail? The American Heart Association is currently looking for energetic volunteers to help out on the day of the event!
Festivities will include healthy refreshments, an entertaining Kids' Zone, Team T-Shirt Contest, Heart-Healthy Snacks, Survivor Area, Fitness & Nutrition Demos and special treats for top fund-raising walkers. Proceeds from the walk will benefit community education and life-saving research to fight heart disease and stroke.

- Set up: - MORNING SETUP including helping to unload & set up the event - PREPARE THE WALK ROUTE including signage & water station - WELCOME WALKERS by helping to run the Registration table - ENGAGE WALKERS & KIDS by running an activity table or food booth - CHEER WALKERS ON as they complete the route around the park - HELP CLEAN UP after the event and load up supplies into vans
