The person will have the opportunity to develop innovative fundraising mechanisms to raise funds for the conservation and sustainable use of natural resources from the Mesoamerican Reef (MAR). This person will get to know about the wonderful and rich biodiversity that exists within the reef and the endangered species that live and depend on the reef. The person will also be helping to create mechanisms to capture funds to support the largest reef system in the Atlantic ocean, that is the source of income to approximately 1.5 million people.
