For those nearing the end of life, caring companionship is often what patients and their families need most. Hospice volunteers play a vital role in providing that special support. We welcome volunteers from every walk of life and background. A passion for caring is all that is required. We have patients in South Reno in homes and facilities that would love to see your face :-)

Description
Hospice is a comprehensive program of medical care designed to address the physical , emotional and spiritual needs of patients with life-limiting illnesses and to provide support services for their family members. This care is provided by skilled, compassionate health care professionals and trained volunteers in the comfort of patient's homes, as well as nursing homes and special in-patient facilities. One of the primary objectives of hospice care is to help patients and family members be as comfortable as possible so they can truly live all the days of their lives.
