Description
Compeer volunteers have an impact on the lives of those they mentor by providing caring, supportive relationships, being positive role models, and helping their mentee gain confidence and a feeling of connection to their community. Individuals referred to Compeer are often lonely or isolated and struggle with peer-to-peer relationships, social skills, academics, feeling accepted, or trusting others.
