Interested in an active area? These volunteers hlep our children needing out-patient services arrive at their destinations, as well as assist the Medical Office Specialists by pulling charts, filing and greeting customers.The Orthopedic Information Desk volunteers can make 30+ trips to the back office, easliy walking one mile per shift. Multi-tasking happens a lot too! You may have the opportunity to interact with patients during lulls with the check-in process.

Description
Since 1952, volunteers have contributed thousands of hours of service to the patients, their families, and to the staff of Driscoll Children's Hospital. Our volunteers work in a variety of areas to provide an added dimension of attention and are an invaluable part of the hospital team.
These volunteers are also the ambassadors to our community. This service and dedication contributes to the efficiency of the hospital and creates a unique caring atmosphere.
