Learning doesn't have to stop after the school bell rings! At Heart House Dallas, we enrich young minds beyond the classroom with homework help, character building skills, and thematic programming to help them become good citizens of their community. You can be a part of this great cause while making a positive difference in the life of a child.

Heart House is a free after school program for at-risk children in the Vickery Meadow Neighborhood, located in Dallas just off Park Lane and Central. We serve students in K-8th grade. Volunteers are needed to tutor, assist program leaders with programs, and be positive role models for our children. Program hours are Mon-Fri, 3:30-6:00PM. Our Fall program begins on September 8th.

We ask for a minimum commitment of 1 hour per week for volunteers (or 4 hours per month.) Attendance at a volunteer orientation and a background check are required.

***Special Note***- We are in dire need of Arabic, Swahili, Burmese, and Spanish speakers.

For more information, please contact Lucie Bazin-Asamoah at lbazin@hearthousdallas.org, or call our office at 214.750.7637.
