We are providing SAT tutoring for our high school juniors in October 2014 which will continue through May 2015. We need SAT tutors in both English and Math, 1 hour a week for each of the cities we run our program in which are Salem, Peabody, and Gloucester. The days and times will be as follows:

Peabody Hours and Location:

Every Thursday from 4:15 - 5:15pm at Peabody V.M. High School

Gloucester Hours and Location:
Every Monday from 4:30 - 5:30pm at Gloucester High School

At this time we do not need SAT tutors for the Salem location.

Volunteers can choose to do one or multiple cities and we are very flexible if a volunteer cannot commit to the full 7 months. Tutors must be familiar with the SAT test and be able to teach testing strategies. Our staff will provide volunteers with SAT materials to work with the students.

If you or someone you know has one hour a week they can share to help our students, please send an e-mail to Norma Ramirez at nramirez@leap4ed.org, detailing why you are qualified to tutor for the SAT test.
