The Education Alliance wants you -- West Virginia students NEED you!
WV eMentoring, a program of The Education Alliance, connects West Virginia high school students to mentors based on career interests. Students complete 10 online activities that focus on the importance of career and college readiness. These activities contain information about careers and postsecondary options in West Virginia. After each activity, students and mentors exchange messages through a secure portal where they discuss these options.
During the course of the mentor/mentee relationship, all conversations and activities take place through the secure and private portal in the WV eMentoring program. No personal identifying information, such as last names, e-mail address or phone numbers, are exchanged. To safeguard students, all mentors are required to clear a background check before participating in the WV eMentoring program.
In just 15 minutes a week, you can make a difference in a student's life. Become a WV eMentor today! Visit www.wvementoring.org
