Schools of Hope is a unique collaboration between schools, community volunteers, and organizations like the Urban League. It is one of the largest and most successful community-based tutoring programs in Wisconsin. The Schools of Hope Middle School Program relies on community volunteers to support students of color and those from low-income families in the areas of math and literacy to ensure all students are high school, college, and community ready.
This is where YOU come in. We need caring adult volunteers to serve as tutors at Sennett Middle School. Prior tutoring experience is not necessary. We provide a variety of orientation and training opportunities. Tutors meet one-on-one or with small groups of students for at least an hour each week. Tutoring takes place at the school Monday through Friday, during the school day or after school (times vary by location).
Commit to making a difference and get involved today!
