Free Prescription Drug Program Developer

Would you like to use your management skills to help provide life-saving prescription medications to Washoe County seniors? Washoe County Senior Services is seeking a senior volunteer with a take charge attitude, entrepreneurial and organizational skills, and a strong desire to make a difference to help us organize a free prescription drug program for low income seniors in the area.

Responsibilities:

Use your knowledge, skills, and experience to work with Washoe County staff to create a formal program to help qualified low income seniors take advantage of free prescription drug programs offered by pharmaceutical companies.

• Research: Ability to acquire information about similar programs already in place around the nation.
• Management: Experience in program administration, general business management, or project management would be ideal.
• Other: Individuals who have worked in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or insurance industries or in government, education or general business would also be highly desirable.
