Harbor Light Hospice is looking for compassionate musicians to volunteer by playing the guitar, violin, piano, cello, or your instrument for our patients! Patients connect well with music even when they cannot communicate anymore.
Being ill takes a toll on the body and mind, and Harbor Light Hospice wants to help patients to relax while confined to a bed or wheelchair through the gift of music. We serve patients all over the greater Chicagoland area.
Harbor Light Hospice appreciates our volunteers and welcomes them as valued members of our team. Interviews and orientation are conducted at our office in Winfield, but you visit patients near you- contact Larisa Calvanese for more information.
