Apartment Set-up: Help set up apartments for incoming refugees. Being a part of preparing a families first home in America is a wonderful and rewarding experience. We are looking for volunteers able to move furniture from our storage unit and into the family’s new home alongside a World Relief staff member and other volunteers.

World Relief began offering services in Stanislaus County in 1996. We are a Christ-centered organization that partners with local churches and works with hundreds of individuals as well as community groups to offer a comprehensive range of services to refugees and immigrants living in Stanislaus County.
The goal is to empower the local Church to serve the most vulnerable and to see refugees, immigrants and members of their communities become fully-functioning, integrated participants in society. Each year in partnership with the Church, World Relief Modesto helps more than 300 clients.
