Surrey Services for Seniors
Volunteer drivers are needed to help older adults with grocery shopping. As a volunteer you can take an older adult to the grocery store or take a list for someone who is homebound. All of the older adults live in Delaware County, are low-income and have no other resources to help them. You can do your own shopping at the same time! Drivers are reimbursed for milieage and parking expenses. Typical commitment is about 4 hours a month. This is a great opportunity for stay-at-home moms and dads, retirees, students, and ANYONE who wants to help a neighbor.
