Nora is 91 and lives in a large home in the Woodridge neighborhood of Bellevue, right off I90 Factoria exit.
She has stories to share and needs help boxing up items and giving them away to declutter her home. This is an honest case of an elder wanting to take care of her things before she has to eventually move into assisted living. Also, she needs a female helper around the house as she can no longer vacuum, chop vegetables, or move heavier items around the home.
She is a veteran from WWII and was in active duty as a nurse. Nice woman who is mentally sharp and just needs a hand. Volunteer would need a car to transport items to the goodwill. You may sign up for the house chores, or just the sorting of boxes, whichever you prefer, she is flexible!

This would be a great opportunity to help an elder in your community and make a great connection with someone who has experienced a lot in her lifetime!

Volunteer Chore Services, a program of Catholic Community Services, serves clients who reside in King County and are low income disabled adults or seniors.
