We are in desperate need of fundraising assistance by trained fundraisers. All of our services have been volunteer for more than three decades. We need someone with a proven track record. Our services are unduplicated in all of North American. Thursday's Child has the ONLY live-answered hotline for at-risk children in all of North America. We have the only 24-hour hotline listed for anorexia or bulimia or eating disorders or bullying victims or for cutters anywhere. We are the only hotline given out for missing or exploited or runaway children, for child abuse, teen pregnancy, teen prostitution, teen substance abuse, cutting, date rape, bullying and STDs. We also take a pro-active stand with many hotline cases, helping to resolve issues. There have been no salaries since we began in 1982. Please be serious about volunteering, as we have spent a lot of effort in the past providing resources to volunteers, who simply vanish.
