Our Unity walk is designed to promote "unity" and "oneness" within the church community and abroad.The walk will begin with sign-in of participants at 5:30 am, prayer at 7am, with the walk beginning after the prayer.After the walk, we will have performances by local and/or nationally known artists.We need volunteers to make this event a success.We will need help in the following areas:Clean-Up-Keep all assigned areas clean and free of unwanted paper products, cans, and trash.Event Set Up (Chairs, Musical Equipment, Running of Errands, etc...)Water Booths (Handing of Water to walkers)Sign-in Table-Make sure all attendees sign in and assist with directing attendees to various areas. Make sure those of age receive raffle tickets for giveaways.Food (servers)-Serve specified food choices to guests.SecuritySeating (Host/Hostesses)-Show guests to assigned seating areas, also work with security to report any unusual happenings by way of radio.Parking-Help direct traffic to assigned parking areas and help to keep streets clear of clutter caused by improper parking.Booth Set-Up-Direct and assist businesses to their assigned areas in the park.Church Contact-Make phone calls and personal contacts with churches to encourage their support in this outreach.Sound Equipment personnel-Load, unloading and setup of sound equipment and help to trouble shoot any problems (must have some experience with sound equipment)Talent Support-Assist with singers, praise dancers, and speakers for event. Also help schedule and coordinate talent.Financial (fundraisers)-Help with fundraising ideas to support and promote mission of KCC, Inc.Sponsor Contacts-Help present Unity Walk Community Event to grocery stores, restaurant, and businesses to support free event. (Placing ads, food beverage, and monetary donations.)Promotion/Market Team-Contact all media (radio, television, & print) by making phone calls and personal contacts.Decorators-To collaborate and help gather the materials necessary to help decorate park for this year's theme.Children Area-Help co-ordinate different activities to keep children occupied throughout the duration of the event.Errand Runners-Food/Donation pick-up during the event.

Sunday, September 14, 2014 is our Annual King of Kings Concert and we will need volunteers from 12pm-6pm, whatever time you can donate in between that time frame would be beneficial. Thanks and God Bless.
