Become a part of our Animal-Assisted Therapy/Activities team! Haku Baldwin Center is in need of volunteers for our Animal-Assisted Therapy/Activities Program (AAT/AAA). As a part of our team, you will witness the amazing bond between humans and animals. We visit over 400 patients monthly, taking our therapy animals (dogs, bunnies, guinea pigs, chickens, and ducks) to facilities around Maui, providing visitation and therapy. Therapy animals and volunteers help to promote hope & healing. We have three days available to volunteers: Monday, Wednesday, Friday. Volunteer times run from 8:00am to 1:00pm. Some facility arrival times may vary.
NOTE: Minimum age to volunteer is 16 years old.
