Birthright of Champaign-Piatt Counties is seeking volunteers to provide emotional support and practical assistance to women who are distressed by an unplanned pregnancy. Volunteers provide free pregnancy testing, maternity and baby clothes, and diapers at the Birthright office in Champaign. Volunteers also provide information and referrals to help clients meet legal, medical, financial, and housing needs.
Volunteers are asked to do a weekly shift of 2 to 3 hours, anytime between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. (Monday through Friday).

Description
Birthright of Champaign-Piatt Counties is a non-profit crisis pregnancy center, a local chapter of an international, inter-denominational organization. We provide non-judgmental support and counseling to women experiencing an unplanned pregnancy. We perform free, confidential pregnancy tests. We provide maternity and baby clothing, diapers, and layettes at no charge.
