Make a Difference in a Life, by giving 1 HOUR per week!!
Join an amazing team of interdisciplinary health professionals who work with hospice patients.
Provide warmth and companionship, a patient ear, social interaction, a soothing touch, a calming presence to terminally ill individuals and their family members. Skirball Hospice is a program of the Los Angeles Jewish Home. We serve families in West Los Angeles, San Fernando Valley and the San Gabriel Valley and at the Los Angeles Jewish Home in Reseda. Training and supervision provided.
We have a special need for bilingual: Spanish, Farsi, Hebrew, Tagalog, Greek, Russian and Armenian.
Alternative health practitioners, artists and musicians welcome!!
Academic credit/community service and internship hours may be arranged on a case by case basis.
