Enjoy shopping? Walk with purpose, gain friends and help seniors maintain their independence at home. Grocery shop for about 4 hours twice per month or on a weekly basis. Choose the day of the week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday) which works best for you. Shoppers start at 6 a.m. and typically finish about 10 a.m. Six month time commitment required; we can accommodate snowbird, summerbird, vacation, and other schedule changes.
Volunteers aged 16 or 17 must be accompanied by an adult volunteer while shopping. The adult must also register as a volunteer.
For more than 30 years, Store To Door has helped seniors to live independently and age with dignity. Our volunteers provide a way for clients to receive quality and affordable groceries while also providing a regular social contact.
