Description
Army SGT Jude Recendez suffered the loss of both of his legs while deployed to Baghdad, Iraq in October 2006. While on a routine patrol, an IED struck the vehicle he was riding in, killing the driver and spinning the car 180 degrees. Recendez, who had suffered immediate amputations of both of his legs, was pulled from the vehicle and treated on the side of the road as he awaited medevac to the Green Zone. He was later airlifted to Landstuhl, Germany and later to Walter Reed Army Medical Center where he remained for more than 11 months.
Homes For Our Troops wants to build a specially adapted home for SGT REcendez to help him move forward in his recovery. But we need your help!
