Description
Do you love dance? Can you teach others?
Project for Pride in Living (PPL's) Self-Sufficiency Program is looking for dance instructors to offer classes to our tenants for summer "active wellness" activities at our housing complexes.
Here's what we'd like to offer our families:
New Hope:A 3-week summer hip hop session (late afternoon or evening) taught by an instructor comfortable with children aged 10-16. AND
A single-session "try it" aerobic class for women. Depending on the response, the class could continue beyond the first session (late afternoon or evening).
North Minneapolis: A 2-session hip hop, aerobics or other dance class, meet every other Friday (daytime) for families (adults and youth) Based on interest and instructor availability, we could continue longer.
Instructors should have dance teaching experience with the specified age group and have an interest in sharing their love of dance! Classes can be flexibly scheduled based on instructor availability.
For more information, please contact Julie Huck, PPL Volunteer Mgr., at 612-455-5111 or julie.huck@ppl-inc.org.
